Nga data 21-26 korrik në qytetin e Mitrovicës, për vitin e nëntë me radhë organizohet Festivali Green. Ky edicion organizohet nën temën “për Nanën Natyrë” duke vënë në spikamë rolin e gruas/nënës në raport me mjedisin dhe burimet natyrore, duke synuar rritjen e ndërgjëgjesimit dhe sensibilizimit të qytetarëve mbi zhvillimin e qëndrueshëm.
Gjatë këtyre ditëve të festivalit do të ketë aktivitete të larmishme artistike e kulturore, si: shfaqje të filmave, muzikë, puntori artistike, murale, debate, si dhe aksione mjedisore. Të dielen në hapësirën e 7 Arte do performojnë dyshja latino-amerikane “Helado Infinito” dhe në vijim për tre net me radhë do shfaqen tre filma dokumentar si: Solar Mama, Permakultura si rrugë drejt paqes dhe Ferdonija. Derisa në anën tjetër organizata holandeze “Hope Box” do të organizojë dialog artistik nën temën “Çfarë po ndodhë me Nënën Natyrë” që do fasilitohet nga artistja me renome nderkombëtare Rienke Enghardt.
Me datën 26 korrik, parashihet të mbyllen aktivitetet përmes natës muzikore ku do të performojnë bende dhe artistë të ndryshëm si: Mr Rez (DJ reggae), Sytë, Flaka Krelani, Gima & Band dhe Elton Deda.
Këtij edicioni i ka paraprirë ekspozita e fotografive nën titullin “Në mbrojtje të Faunës” me autor Arian Mavriqi, si dhe puntoria “Code 4 Green” e organizuar nga Girls Coding Kosova me qëllim të zhvillimit të ideve e aplikacioneve që do ndihmonin gjendjen e mjedisit tonë.
Aktivitete nën këtë tematikë do të organizohen gjatë gjithë vitit, andaj për më shumë informata luteni të na përcjellni përmes mediave elektronike.

Green Fest 9 – “For Mother Nature”
From 21-26 of July in the city of Mitrovica, the Green Festival is being organized for the ninth edition this year. This edition is organized under the theme “For Mother Nature” highlighting the role of woman/mother in relation to the environment and natural resources, aiming at raising awareness and sensibilisation on sustainable development.
During these festival days, there will be diverse artistic and cultural activities, such as film screening, music, art exhibitions, murals, debates, and environmental actions. On Sunday, at 7Arte space will be performed by the Latino-American duo “Helado Infinito”, followed next days by three documentaries such as: “Solar Mama”, “Permaculture as a Way to Peace” and “Ferdonija”
While on the other hand, the Dutch organization “Hope Box” will host an artistic dialogue under the theme “What’s Up with Mother Nature?” that will be facilitated by renowned international artist Rienke Enghardt.
On the 26th of July, it is foreseen to close the activities through a musical night with the performance of different bands and artists such as: Mr Rez (dj reggae), Sytë, Flaka Krelani, Gima & Band and Elton Deda.
This edition was preceded by an exhibition of various photographs under the title “In protection of Fauna” by author Arian Mavriqi, as well as the “Code 4 Green” workshop organized by Girls Coding Kosova in order to develop ideas and applications that would help with the state of our environment.
