Në fjalimin hyrës të mbajtur nga kryetari i Komunës së Mitrovicës z.Bedri Hamza, u vlerësua lartë dhe u konfirmua mbështetja e mëtutjeshme për organizimin e festivalit tashmë tradicional Green Fest në komunën e Mitrovicës, duke e parë si potencial për zhvillimin e jetës kulturore, turizmit si dhe rritjes së vetëdijes mbi çështjet mjedisore.
Ndërkaq, drejtori i festivalit z. Lulzim Hoti, ritheksoi se tema e sivjetme “Tfillo” vije si thirrje për të kryer punët me sa më përgjegjshmëri, si në nivelin lokal poashtu edhe atë nacional. Një fjalim rasti dhe mbajti edhe Znj.Valdete Idrizi, drejtore e DKRS-së e cila u zotua se ky festival do vazhdoj të ketë mbështetjen institucionale edhe gjatë viteve në vijim.
Për të pranishmit dhe atmosferën festive e plot emocion u kujdes këngëtarja e mirënjohur Rona Nishliu, nën tingujt e kitarës përcjellur nga Driton Bejta.
Tema e edicionit të sivjetmë të ”Green Fest” është motivuar nga Objektivat e Zhvillimit të Qëndrueshëm të Kombeve të Bashkuara, “Prodhim dhe Konsumim i Përgjegjshëm (SDG12), që njëherit vije si praktikë e vazhdueshme e në sinkronizim me numrin 12-të të edicionit, të festivalit.
Programi i Green Fest 12 parasheh organizimin e aktiviteteve të larmishme si: fjalime ,punëtori, aktivitete rekreative e gjithëpërfshirëse, shfaqje filmi, aksione mjedisore, si dhe dy nete muzikore.

The 12th edition of the Green Fest festival was opened last night in Mitrovica.
In the introductory speech held by the mayor of the Municipality of Mitrovica, Mr. Bedri Hamza, highly appreciated the traditional festival Green fest and confirmed the further support for the organization by the Municipality of Mitrovica, seeing it as a potential for the development of the cultural life, tourism as well as raising awareness of environmental issues.
Meanwhile, the director of the festival, Mr. Lulzim Hoti, emphasized that this year’s theme “Tfillo” is a call to carry out the work with as much responsibility as possible, both on a local level, as well as a national level.
Valdete Idrizi, the director of DCYS gave a special occasion speech and vowed that this festival will always have its institutional support. The well-known singer Rona Nishliu took care of the guests and the good atmosphere, under the sound of the guitar accompanied by Driton Bejta.
The theme of this year’s edition of “Green Fest” is motivated by the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, “Responsible Production and Consumption (SDG12), which at the same time comes as a practice and aims in synchronization with the corresponding number 12 of the edition of the festival
The program of Green Fest 12 foresees the organization of diverse activities such as: talks, workshops, recreational and inclusive activities, film screenings, environmental actions, as well as two nights of music.
