MOCI – Mobile Open Culture and Innovation was initiated and co-created by a pan-European team of cultural, social and youth organizations shaping an informal network. Starting 2019 in the Western Balkans and 2020 in South-Caucasus we seek to connect and transcend cultural constraints, eliminating digital divides, creating common vocabularies and access to open knowledge within and across our regions.

MOCI seeks to support sustainable and hybrid forms of social innovation and creative activism by a selected variety of actions and tools for empowering young citizens. We believe that exchange and co-creation are of fundamental importance in moving towards free and open societies. Our particular focus is on identifying and designing mechanisms that enable well-being, reconciliation, and foster resilience in (post-) conflict and transitional post-socialist societies.

The pilot phase of MOCI Balkans was supported by the Culture of Solidarity Grant of the European Cultural Foundation. 

This project is implemented in collaboration with the Seeds of Sustainability (SOS) project by the European Network of Cultural Centres. This project invites cultural centres to take swift action on climate change and shares inspiring projects and initiatives.

MOCI-Mobile Open Culture and Innovation u inicua dhe u krijua nga një ekip pan-evropian i organizatave kulturore, sociale dhe rinore që formuan një rrjet joformal. Duke filluar me 2019 në Ballkanin Perëndimor dhe 2020 në Kaukazin Jugor ne kërkojmë të lidhim dhe tejkalojmë kufizimet kulturore, duke eleminuar ndarjet dixhitale, duke krijuar fjalorë të përbashkët dhe qasje në njohuri të hapura brenda dhe përtej rajoneve tona.MOCI kërkon të mbështesë format e qëndrueshme dhe hibride të inovacionit social dhe aktivizmit krijues me një larmi veprimesh dhe mjetesh të zgjedhura për fuqizimin e qytetarëve të rinj. Ne besojmë se shkëmbimi dhe bashkë-krijimi janë të një rëndësie themelore në lëvizjen drejt shoqërive të lira dhe të hapura.

Fokusi ynë i veçantë është në identifikimin dhe hartimin e mekanizmave që mundësojnë mirëqenien, pajtimin dhe nxisin qëndrueshmërinë në (pas) konflikteve dhe shoqërive kalimtare post-socialiste.

Faza pilot e MOCI Ballkan u mbështet nga Culture of Solidarity Grant of the European Cultural Foundation.
